Winn Wittman is considered one of the main residential architects in the U.S. His work has been praised in numerous magazines nationally and internationally and awarded by the American Institute of Architecture, among others. His firm Winn Wittman Architecture, based in Austin, was founded in 1996. Since then, he’s been dedicated to designing homes around Texas and the world, even for big names in the industry, including Emmy winning writers and Grammy winning composers.
The work created by this company is characterized by vast spaces which highlight shapes, color and details. His inspiration comes from current technology, without forgetting that he should create environments for pleasure and relaxation of its occupants.
Dubbed “The most rock ‘n roll architect in America” by the American magazine “Space”, Winn Wittman and his team offers the best of modernity with a unique and highly personal touch, always looking to please the most demanding customers.
This project redesigned by Wittman and his architectural firm is a beautiful villa located in Austin Texas. With five bedrooms, this 10,500 square feet mansion overlooking Lake Travis is named Acquavilla. Part of its incredible design is its fully automated lighting and entertainment systems; it even has climate control features to ensure the care of his client’s valuable collection of rock n’ roll memorabilia and luxurious vehicles. In the two years of renovation, fun and original elements were added to give a twist to each environment.
