- 1 whole untrimmed brisket
- 1 pack of onion soup mix
- 3 tablespoons of Kitchen Bouquet
- 1 cup of water
- Heat oven to 450 °F. Season brisket with all ingredients and place in large deep baking pan.
- Place in oven uncovered for 20 minutes.
- Lower the temperature to 350°.
- Cover brisket with aluminum foil. Bake for 3 hours or until tender.
- Let rest and carve against the grain. Pour all liquid into a gravy/fat separator.
- Discard all fat before serving.
