Fried Ice Cream. The Harbour Grill

  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream
  • 3 cups crushed corn flakes
  • 1 cup crushed pecans
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 2 quarts frying oil
  • Strawberry puree
  • Whipped cream
  • Strawberries
  1. Scoop ice cream into ½ cup balls. Place in a tray and freeze for 3 hours
  2. In a bowl, mix cornflakes, pecans and cinnamon
  3. Roll the ice cream balls into the flour, dredge with the eggs, and coat with the cornflake mix. Freeze for 3 hours
  4. In a deep fryer or saucepan, heat oil to 375°F and fry ice cream for about 15 seconds. Drain and serve
  • Top with strawberry puree, whipped cream and fresh strawberries
