The combination of fresh, diverse ingredients, along with meticulous preparation, have allowed gourmands to flourish in its haute and nouvelle cuisine. Thanks to owner and manager Gilbert Amsellem, South Florida can have a taste of such extraordinary cuisine in its own backyard at The Harbour Grill.
Having left France for a better Jewish life in Miami, Amsellem found a culinary niche which was waiting to be filled. For eight years, The Harbour Grill has offered a kosher approach towards consistent, high quality ingredients that incorporates the best of both worlds: kosher and French dining with an ample menu.
Chef David Beney leads the cooking team, serving specials from the grill and sushi bar. As a glatt kosher steakhouse, it prides itself in its fine cuts of meat, such as the Lamb Kefta, which is served in sliders seasoned with Moroccan spices, or the Sea Bass roll with shiitake mushrooms, one of the house’s bestsellers.
With a keen eye and vision, Gilbert Amsellem has been working on creating an exclusive artisan charcuterie line based on quality cuts. This new concept will soon open a deli location a few doors down from the flagship restaurant.
This steak and sushi venue, located a few blocks from The Bal Harbour Shops and not far from the beach, offers a pleasant setting for any time of day, but especially evenings.
