JASSI LEKACH ANTEBI AND HINDA ADLER ARE IN THE BUSINESS OF PRODUCING EXPERIENCES. WHILE DESIGN & PLANNING EVENTS IS THE CORE OF WHAT THEY DO, THEIR SUCCESS IS BUILT ON UNDERSTANDING AND DEVELOPING THEIR CLIENT’S VISION IN ORDER TO CREATE UNFORGETTABLE MEMORIES.

After graduating from the University of Miami, Jassi went to Florence, Italy to study interior design and returned to begin her career working for Karla Dascal. In 2005, she founded J Group Events and went on to produce fragrance launch events for Paris Hilton, Guess, and Maria Sharapova all over the globe. Settling in NY, she expanded her client base and was sought out to design & plan events for luxury brands and private clients looking to throw extra special weddings and social events. One of those weddings was in Naples, FL for one of her closest friends, Hinda Adler. They enjoyed the process so much that they decided to partner up, with Jassi as creative director and Hinda as the planning & experience director.
“We were some of the first in Miami to offer both planning and design. The right song playing as guests enter, the impeccably groomed servers offering champagne, the correct lighting to make the décor pop, what the guests are touching and tasting, all of these moments add up to create an amazing event,” recounts Adler. “I always take a step back to appreciate how lucky we are to be in the inner circle of the most amazing times in peoples’ lives,” says Jassi.

Beyond the end result, which is a spectacular party, clients working with J Group can expect to enjoy the entire planning period, from early design development, to the budget planning and sample presentations. The planners are completely transparent in the process and will only work with partners who can deliver the best product and experiences for their clients.
Both Jassi and Hinda are busy moms with five kids between the two of them, and they are actively involved in various community organizations, including JCS, WIZO, Friendship Circle Miami, Scheck Hillel Community School, and Lehrman Community Day School. “Yes, we’re pretty busy, but we really love what we do, and that love can be felt in everything we do.” Such is the case for the Bris featured in this article. The design began the day the client’s twins were born healthy and strong. The client had purchased boy and girl teddy bears wearing ladybug costumes, and wanted to use them along with Hebrew baby blocks for the décor. The babies’ mother loves tulips so those were the only flowers used in the entire space.
According to Jassi and Hinda, it was a challenge to incorporate all of those elements and still make the party feel soft and babyish. With white fabric-wrapped tabletops, white acrylic Hebrew letters, runners of wheat grass with red tulips, and black and white striped accents, the planners achieved a modern-chic baby naming. A cascade of tulips hanging over a square of grass served as the focal center point of the room, and a white Hebrew- alphabet wall with a linear acrylic shelf functioned as a cool backdrop and dessert display.
The planners had to push suppliers to come through on such short notice. They had only one day to design and lay out the plans, so all event providers worked tirelessly through the weekend producing all of the custom elements.
In the end, the result was the sweet and cuddly ambiance that we see in these images, which left one mother very satisfied, and two others very happy with the job they did.
