AT JACKIE ABRAHAM JEWELERS, OUR CLIENTELE IS AS PRICELESS AS OUR JEWELS.
By Jackie Abraham
John Gray once said, ìMen are motivated and empowered when they feel needed.” As a businessman and third-generation jeweler, I find motivation in meeting the needs of my clients. I feel most empowered in my business when I get to know clients and am able to share in their stories. Through years of working abroad and watching my parents grow their own successful jewelry company, I quickly learned that buying and selling jewelry is more than just an exchange of commodities. It’s an opportunity to connect with the client.
My love of beautiful things and desire to cultivate long-lasting relationships with clients led me to open Jackie Abraham Jewelers over three-and-a-half years ago in Bay Harbor Islands. Following 25 years of traveling cross-country buying and selling jewelry, I knew it was time to open my first free-standing store in order to better serve my clients. Here, I’m able to offer a much more personalized and private experience. I relish working one on one with clients to truly get to know them and their needs. As our business motto reads—confidence is precious—insomuch that remaining honest with our clients is invaluable.
At Jackie Abraham, our goal is to develop lifelong relationships with our customers. Whether a client is interested in purchasing a new piece for themselves or looking to sell jewelry that has been passed on to them, we will always be available no matter what their current jewelry needs may be. In establishing this connection, we offer continuing service that includes repairs, redesigns, appraisals, jewelry purchases and sales.
Through our network of clients and loyal customers, we’ve been able to amass a collection of beautiful jewelry that you won’t find elsewhere. Customers have their pick from our special Jackie Abraham private collection that we have created with a small team of designers as well as an extensive collection of one-of-a-kind estate jewelry. Because all of our estate jewelry is purchased directly from clients who frequent our store, customers can count on a curated selection. Each piece we sell is designed or sourced to fit clients who want to own a beautiful piece of jewelry that’s not only unique but also speaks to their individual personality.
Exceptional jewelry does not have to be expensive. We understand that customers today want to look their best without spending an exorbitant amount of money. By procuring estate jewelry, we’re able to pass on significant savings to our clients. We also find that estate jewelry is often a better value, as it’s of much better quality than a great deal of the jewelry being made today.
People may not initially associate our location with savings, but we can ensure that our proximity to Bal Harbour Shops was a deliberate attempt to bring awareness to the gem that is Bay Harbor Islands—not raise prices. I’m a big advocate for the neighborhood, in part because in addition to its affluence, it’s one of the safest, most secure areas of South Florida. My commitment to Bay Harbor will extend to other ventures as well. Jackie Abraham’s plans are to expand to an antique and decorative arts boutique down the street. Together with my wife’s existing consignment boutique Crème de la Crème, which features designer handbags, shoes and accessories on the same block, all three businesses will serve as an all-encompassing retail experience for clients with an eye for exquisite vintage pieces.
